  • Komagatake Ropeway in May weather

    May 5th (Friday) was blessed with a sunny day. I went to visit three shrines: Kuzuryu Shrine, Hakone Motomiya Shrine, and Hakone Shrine.
    First, I visited Kuzuryu Shrine. Next, we took the Komagatake Ropeway to Hakone Motomiya. All the passengers gasped and cheered at the view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from inside the ropeway. Of course, the view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from Hakone Motomiya was even more spectacular.
    Finally, I visited Hakone Shrine and was able to visit three shrines. It was a really wonderful day.

However, it was quite difficult to stand in line for a long time in the cold to get on the ropeway on the way home.
