    After watching the TV program "Kaere Monday Mikketai," I wanted to visit the heavenly Hakonehon Shrine, so I took the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway to the summit of Mt. Komagatake. It only took me 7 minutes to get there, and the view from the summit observation point, "Ashi no Sora," was amazing. From the summit of Mt. Komagatake, I could see Mt. Fuji all the way to its base, and it made me feel happy.

The gondola is large, but there are few seats, and the ride is only seven minutes, so we recommend standing and enjoying the scenery. There's almost no shaking, so it's safe. The sunset is recommended. The wide windows make for beautiful photos. The ropeway staff are also very helpful. It's cold at the summit in winter, so be sure to dress warmly. While you have to climb all the way to the top of Hakone Motomiya Shrine, we highly recommend visiting. Enjoy a stroll around the shrine, choosing either the pilgrimage route or the shorter route from the base of Motomiya Shrine. Near Motomiya Shrine, there's a large rock associated with a horse. It's sure to give you power.

    We had great views of Hatsushima, Izu Oshima, the Southern Alps, and Mt. Fuji. The trip to the summit of Mt. Komagatake on the Komagatake Ropeway was fantastic.

    We took the Komagatake Ropeway to the summit of the 1783m mountain. Below us was a magnificent panorama of Lake Ashi, Suruga Bay, the Izu Seven Islands, Shonan Coast, Miura Peninsula, and Boso Peninsula. During our walk, we spotted a single purple autumn monkshood in bloom, and couldn't help but snap a photo. After descending to the base of the mountain, we took the "Ninja Bus" for a spectacular dive into Lake Ashi.

    On the way up from Togendai by ropeway, we encountered a deer and were greeted by it.
    The kids were smiling, and we enjoyed Mt. Fuji🗻 before heading to the summit.
    Speaking of Owakudani, I ate black eggs for the first time in a while and they were absolutely delicious.

    On the morning of May 24th, I took the ropeway to the top of Mt. Komagatake! It was a bit cloudy so it was disappointing to see Mt. Fuji, but the view of Lake Ashi from the top was amazing.
    By chance, Hakone Shrine was also open, so we were able to visit it.
    The facilities have been cleaned up and the paths are easy to walk on, so I'd love to go again! Next time I'll try it on a sunny day!

    I bought a round trip ticket locally and used it with my family.
    The view was impressive and Mt. Fuji looked huge, it was amazing.
    It was crowded because it was a three-day weekend, but the staff were kind enough to guide us to seats with a little more space so that families and couples could sit together, and the train was very comfortable.
    I still want to use it.
