Kujuku Shinichi Museum
A museum that permanently exhibits the works of Shinichi Tsukumo, a contemporary artist living in Barcelona who is active both in Japan and overseas.
Enjoy a unique view of the world in the museum, where abstract works that rhythmically depict various motifs are lined up!
*Shinichi Tsukumo
Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1955. In 1984, he was invited by the Ministry of Education of Puebla, Mexico to hold solo exhibitions at various museums, and in 1989 his work was recognized by the sculptor Eduardo Chillida.
Since exhibiting at NICAF in 2003, he has presented many works at art exhibitions in Japan and overseas.
In Japan, in addition to his hometown of Kyushu, he has been vigorously holding special exhibitions in places such as Shimonoseki, Osaka, Kyoto, and Kanagawa, expanding the scope of his activities.
