Hakone Botanical Garden

A botanical garden centered on plants that grow in wetlands such as wetlands, rivers and lakes.
In addition to 200 species of wetland plants scattered throughout Japan from lowlands to high mountains, the park also has 1100 species of grasslands, forests, and alpine plants. About 1700 kinds of plants bloom seasonally.
Let's take a look at the plants on the garden path that goes from the lowlands to the high mountains and from the early wetlands to the developed wetlands!

In the exhibition room,The flora and fauna of the Sengokuhara Wetlands are introduced through photographs, panels, and large aquariums.
In addition, A 15-minute video "Hakone Botanical Garden of Four Seasons" will also be screened.
The shop sells small items such as original postcards and photo books, as well as wild grasses and carnivorous plants (summer only).
