  • Delicious pickled plums

    When I go to Odawara, I often stop by Hashimoto, a soba restaurant. Of course we have the soba noodles, but we also recommend the take-out umeboshi (pickled plums) that can only be purchased here.
    Umeboshi is made with only plums and salt without any additives, and although it has a strong salty taste, it still has the nostalgic taste of umeboshi. And quite large.
    I'm glad that the price remains the same during this high price!
    If you like umeboshi, please give it a try.
    Of course, we also have soba noodles in the store!

    I started going to Hashimoto after being introduced to it by a friend.
    Conveniently located within walking distance from Odawara Station.
    There are so many variations of soba that I always get confused, but I love the sakura shrimp tempura!
    It's gorgeous, voluminous, and has a satisfying taste.

    I also love the umeboshi that are sold at stores.
    It has a strong salty taste, but it doesn't contain any additives, making it a traditional pickled plum! I feel said.
    It's a great item to have as a souvenir.
