  • You should definitely go.

My kids took a day trip to Tenseien during spring break.
As everyone has posted, the large open-air bath seems to be a specialty of the hotel. I didn't go into the hot spring, but I did spend some time relaxing in the free foot bath and watching the natural waterfall.
You can walk there from Hakone-Yumoto Station while enjoying the view of the Hakone cityscape, so it's a recommended spot for families on a budget.

  • I stayed there.

    The hot springs were great.
It is especially recommended for those who want to relax.
    I was healed by Hakone.

  • I really love this hot spring facility.

The mountain is right in front of you, the open-air bath has a spectacular view, and there is a jacuzzi bath.

There are goldfish in the garden and pond, as well as colorful carp. You can also visit the shrine. The items for sale at the outdoor shop are also wonderful. You can enjoy yourself for a long time while relaxing your body and mind in the hot springs.

  • Warm and cozy with strangers

Anyone can enjoy a free foot bath on the rooftop of the Tenseien Odawara Station Annex. With a panoramic view of Sagami Bay, it adds to the excitement of your trip. It's a wonderful spot where people of all ages and genders, even strangers, can share the space and relax.

  • Slow, relaxing and soothing.

Tenseien is a long-established inn. The stylish, modern lodgings are also quite wonderful. The large, beautiful public bath and open-air bath are so spacious you'll want to bathe in them again and again. The kaiseki cuisine served in your room is also delicious. The extraordinary atmosphere will soothe you.

  • The sense of openness is great!

I went there with my family for a day trip. The bath was clean and the open feeling was very comfortable!
The garden had a shrine, a waterfall, and a pond with koi carp, so we enjoyed taking a walk there.
    I want to go again

  • とてもステキです!

I went to a day spa.
The inside of the building was spacious and beautiful, so I was able to relax.
There are several indoor and outdoor baths, so you can relax in them if it's not crowded.
There is a shuttle service (fee required) by minibus from Hakone-Yumoto Station, so it is recommended for first-time visitors to Hakone!

  • The open-air bath is the best!

I think this is probably the largest open-air bath in Hakone. The majestic Hakone mountains in front of you are soothing no matter what season you visit, be it the fresh greenery or the autumn leaves.
The buffet has a wide variety of options for both dinner and breakfast, so you can eat as much as you like of what you like, from appetizers to main dishes and desserts.
You can also enjoy delicious seafood bowls in the morning.
    I appreciate it.

The garden also features a waterfall and foot bath, making it a great place to take a leisurely stroll.
It is within walking distance from Hakone-Yumoto Station,
There is no need to adjust to fewer bus services.

I also took advantage of the day spa, and it was well-equipped with restaurants, places to rest, and rooms where you can sleep while watching TV.
Be sure to visit for a day trip or overnight stay!

  • The location from the open-air hot spring is the best

In front of the vast open-air bath,
    The Hakone mountains spread out
    It's so soothing!
Highly recommended for both day trips and overnight stays!

  • Power spot with two waterfalls

This is an inn where you can stay for both day trips and overnight stays, but the most notable thing about it is the garden.
    There are two waterfalls
There is also a shrine, so it is very relaxing.
You can see it from the open-air bath, but women should be careful.
Apparently you can see it from underneath.
The water is clear but very warm.

    2024.09.20 Mikyo (Kanagawa) Women
  • The garden was also splendid.

The hot springs were very pleasant and the food was delicious.
    Plus, a beautiful garden.
I was surprised to see a shrine and even a waterfall.
There were also ducks and carp swimming in the pond, and we were able to feed them.
It was so cute and feeding them was fun.

The view of the stars from the outdoor pool on the rooftop is amazing

  • Day trip hot springs are the best!

I used it as a day trip hot spring, and it was great because yukata and towels were all provided so I could go empty-handed!
The food menu is also extensive and I would definitely like to come back again.

  • Tamadare Falls is very nice

A Tamadare waterfall flows quietly within the facility. I was healed in a very calming space. The waterfall looks like a thin thread, but the endless sound of the water and the brightly colored carp in the pond are picturesque.

  • I stayed there.

The parking lot is large and easy to park.
After all, hot springs, food, and an extraordinary space.
    I was healed.

  • I was healed by the calm atmosphere!

The mountains were right next to me, the air was clear, and I was able to spend a comfortable time in a calm atmosphere.

  • Power spot

    There are two waterfalls here
    It's in the back garden
Parking is also free for a short period of time.
It's interesting to see ducks and carp.
You can also cook at the hot springs for a day trip, but the roads along the way are narrow so please be careful when driving.

  • Convenient near the station!

Last time I stayed in Hakone Yumoto, but this time I went to the annex to relax in Odawara. At Minaka Odawara, we enjoyed meals and a footbath with a great view, and we also enjoyed breakfast in a spectacular setting. I was happy to hear that the chef asked me for another helping. The room was spacious, the view was great, and I soaked in the hot water from Hakone Yumoto in the large public bath, making it the best trip ever. I will go again!

    2024.02.16 Mayumin (Tokyo) Male
  • I had fun in the garden too.

I went there with my 1 year and 4 month old child.
She had a hard time staying still, so when I took her to the garden, she was overjoyed to see so many creatures such as ducks and carp.
They were also curious about the flowing waterfalls, and climbed up and down the path with just the right amount of ups and downs to keep their bodies moving.
