  • It was a nice hot spring.

    The last day of the three-day weekend. Arrived just before noon.
    There was a long line of cars on the slope. We were able to get into the parking lot in about 30 minutes.
    It was worth the wait. Although the outdoor baths felt either hot or lukewarm, the water was smooth and my skin felt moisturized the next day. I want to go again.

  • The best summer vacation memories

    I had no plans to go anywhere during the Obon holidays because they are expensive and crowded, but I thought it would be a boring holiday, so I decided to extend my holiday and go to Tenzan Hot Springs Resort, a place I'd always wanted to go to, on a weekday.
    First of all, the atmosphere was more Japanese than I had imagined, and the sound of wind chimes and cicadas instantly made me feel like I was on summer vacation. The bath was also perfect, with a hot spring, and taking a deep breath surrounded by green trees made me feel completely at home. In particular, I ate the shaved ice after the bath while looking at the river, and it was made with homemade syrup containing fruit, which made everything very satisfying, and it was perfect for the kind of relaxing trip I had always wanted to spend my vacation on. I would like to go again and again in different seasons.

    This is my favorite place, where my husband took me before we got married. It's a wonderful building, the smell of incense, the scent of cypress in the cypress bath, the quality of the open-air bath, and everything else - it's 100% perfect from every angle. Thanks to this hot spring, I've conquered all the hot springs in Hakone, and I've become such a hot spring lover. This is a day trip hot spring that I highly recommend everyone to visit at least once.
