This is a special exhibition at the Hakone Lake Ashinoko Narukawa Museum of Art, which changes the exhibits each season from its collection of over 4,000 works, mainly contemporary Japanese paintings.
All of the special exhibitions are held on the same day, so if you enter the museum you can see all of them.

The winter special exhibition "Yamamoto Kyujin Exhibition" is being held for the second time since 2023. The exhibition will be divided into two parts and will feature approximately 1 works, focusing on landscape paintings of modern and powerful seas and mountains from Kyujin's mid-period, including "Full Moon Night," the first piece in the Narukawa Museum of Art collection, and graceful and poetic imaginative floral works from his later period, such as his representative work "Earthly Rhythm."
*February 2th, the anniversary of Okabito's death, is a free viewing day.
Yoshida Tadashi's Greatest Exhibition - Unchanging Art on the sliding doors of the Tenpyozan Zen Hall in San Francisco, USA -
Yoshida Tamotsu's sliding door paintings for the Tenpyozan Zendo guest hall in the United States, which took three and a half years to complete, will be on display. Using the various pines of Izu as a motif, the 3-meter-long (22 panels) sliding door paintings depict the state of life, including dragon gods and sun gods, and are a masterpiece that took the artist a lifetime to complete. This is a rare opportunity to view the painting before it is dedicated. Representative works from the Narukawa Art Museum collection will also be on display.
Collection Masterpieces Exhibition: The Brilliance of Japanese Paintings
This is an exhibition of masterpieces that introduces representative works from the Narukawa Museum of Art's collection, including Yoshihiko Yoshida, Kohei Morita, Fumiko Hori, Kazuo Kakarai, Takehiko Mori, Matazo Kayama, Susumu Maki, Toshio Tabuchi, Reiji Hiramatsu, Tasai Yoshida, Takeshi Ushio, and others.
