The Kamakura branch of this popular Japanese cafe opened on February 2025, 2 along Wakamiya-oji Street in Kamakura.
The deep interior of the restaurant has over 80 seats and is a relaxing space with a Japanese theme.
There is also tatami seating available, where you can relax and enjoy Japanese-style food, drinks, sweets, and more.

This is the signature dish at Wa Cafe Tsumugi Kamakura branch.
Rice (white rice or 13-grain rice) and main dish (fishOrMeatThis special meal includes 9 yen, XNUMX small side dishes, kenchinjiru soup, and a Kamakura-exclusive blend tea.
Five of the nine small dishes are related to Kamakura, including "Umehana Hanpen" from Inoue Kamabokoten, "Simmered Wakame Stem" and "Shirasu Sansho" from Kamakura Tomono, "Takana-maki Daikon" from Kamakura Akimoto, and "Red Radish Pickles" made with pickle vinegar from Mitsutome Shoten! The kenchinjiru soup, which is prepared in-store every day, has a deep flavor with dashi made from shiitake mushrooms and kelp, and fresh vegetables and tofu.

This set includes a homemade rich matcha mousse made with matcha from Fukufu Mukoshunen, a dorayaki filled with bean paste, butter, and shiratama, and a tea that is only available in Kamakura. The "Kamakura Blend Tea" is a blend of Okawachi Sencha tea with a refreshing sweetness and rich aroma, herbs, and a hint of yuzu, giving it a taste reminiscent of Kamakura's majestic nature (ocean) and colorful hydrangeas. A moderately salty kyarabuki is served as a palate cleanser.
