  • It was so close!

    As I got on the cute train, I was overwhelmed by the scenery of houses and cars right next to the train. I was also impressed by how the plants in the houses were neatly pruned so that they wouldn't hit the train.
    I arrived at Kamakura Station from Enoshima Station at around 2pm, but there was already a line at the Enoshima Electric Railway platform for the Fujisawa-bound train! I wanted to enjoy my time until I got home without forgetting the relaxed atmosphere.

    I visited Enoshima from Kamakura for the first time. I had planned to return to Kansai on the same day, but I took advantage of the Enoshima Electric Railway to visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the Great Buddha of Kamakura, a walk along the seaside, and Enoshima Sea Candle. I was enthralled by the beautiful scenery and thought about the history of this place. The hydrangeas seen from the Enoshima Electric Railway were also beautiful, making it a great trip.     My parents from Akita came to visit us during spring break, so we toured the course from Kamakura to Enoshima with their children.
