Decorate your garden with Halloween and Christmas themes
Nicolai Bergmann's sensibility resonates with the natural beauty of Hakone, changing its appearance with each season at Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens.
Until the end of October, numerous pumpkins and orange and yellow mums (Western chrysanthemums) will be arranged in a fun and artistic way throughout the garden, turning the entire garden into a Halloween wonderland!
The special space combines the beauty of Hakone's colorful trees with the sensibility of Nicolai Bergmann, and features a pumpkin gate that doubles as a great photo spot, a staircase lined with large pumpkins, a pavilion lined with pumpkins of unusual shapes, and yellow and orange flowers!
Come enjoy Halloween in the garden, which only comes once a year and is decorated with over 300 pumpkins of all sizes and autumn flowers!
Furthermore, from November, the atmosphere will change to a Nordic Christmas atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy seasonal scenery. Workshops and Christmas markets are also planned!
Why not enjoy the natural beauty of autumn and winter with all your senses!
A limited-edition autumn menu created by a chef from Denmark will also be available!
NOMU hakone, an imaginative cafe created by Nicolai Bergmann, offers seasonal cafe-exclusive menus such as Halloween and Christmas!
A Danish chef has created a colorful smorrebröd and sandwiches using autumn ingredients from the Hakone area, as well as Halloween-themed pumpkin pie and other limited-time menu items. A picnic lunch that you can put in a basket and enjoy anywhere in the garden is also popular!
